This place is really nice. Nicely decorated on the outside but the inside was deathly hot on a warm summer day. Luckily they have picnic tables outside in the shade. Food was good but very overpriced. We got some nice Montreal style smoked meat sandwiches which were good but if you want to add any extras like cheese or sauerkraut or fries it'll cost you more. Getting into their lot from the road is death defying because it's on a corner so you don't see it coming until the last second so be careful if you go there.
Love the food and the staff. Excellent every time we visit. On a nice day, no better place to enjoy the outside eating area (picnic tables and Muskoka deck chairs).
This was absolutely the best surprise find of our trip. We ate here and/or got pastries several times. The Montreal smoked meat was staggeringly good-seriously the best Ive ever had.
We always stop here when making a trip to Peggy's Cove. Best Montreal smoked meat on the east coast, hands down! They sell a variety of sandwiches with fries, and their bakery is TO DIE FOR. Their outside dining area is quaint and picturesque.
Great place for snack and coffee in a beautiful location. Who could ask for more? We stopped here for a mid-afternoon coffee and snack. We took our coffee and bread pudding, and sat in Adirondack chairs overlooking a cove. Enjoyed the food and view and even had connectivity. It had sandwiches, bread, jams and other things to eat but we weren't looking for meal. Stop here and you will be happy.
