I try to remain loyal to local businesses. This place has the added benefit that they have an incredible inventory of hard to find hardware. not uncommonly hard to find in Halifax. As well their charge for single small items are usually less that the bigger stores.I was recently looking for plastic pipe that would tolerate 100 deg c. The sales person did'n know the answer; while I was looking for other things he had not only found the answer but had found a source of suitable pipe in the small quantity I needed.
We have been dealing at Redmond's since it opened. It is the "go-to" place for hardware items - anything and everything you need for renovations, building, boating supplies - you name it. If they don't have it, which is seldom, they can get it. On top of that, the owners and staff at Redmond's haven't forgotten what "customer service" really means and are always eager to assist, a rarity in today's world. John and Shelley are very active in the community and make "Shop Local" an easy sell.
